If you wrestle with the January blues...

After all the festivities of December we all fall into the dark blues at times. The happy Christmas lights disappear from the houses and shops, the weather seems to turn more gray too. The world and days seem a bit colder and can feel, well, heavy.

Sure, there's a lot to do. Make new plans for the upcoming year, cleaning up, setting a new course... All smart and constructive things to do, but they honestly don't get my creative and happy juices flowing. And I've learned I'm not the only one.

To set myself straight, just with the start of the new year, I wrote this poem. To cheer myself up a bit and to help myself see clearly. To see things through a positive and also honest lens. The lessons of Les Brown really ring though this.

I've shared it with several people and they really were empowerd by this. So here is my poem. I hope it will bring you energy, positive vibes, vigor and the determination you long for.
